- Flour โ 120 g (1 cup)
- Butter โ 85 g (6 tablespoons)
- Sugar โ 50 g (1/4 cup)
- Water โ 240 ml (1 cup)
- Salt โ 1/2 teaspoon
- Eggs โ 3 to 4
- Vanilla extract โ 1 teaspoon
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips โ 2/3 cup
- Heavy cream โ 2/3 cup
- Cinnamon โ 2 teaspoons plus additional for cinnamon sugar
- Oil โ for frying
- Cinnamon sugar โ 3/4 cup sugar mixed with 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
Steps to Churro Heaven
- Prepare the Dough
Pour water, butter, sugar, and salt into a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat until it comes to a rolling boil. Remove from heat, add flour all at once, and stir vigorously until it forms a ball. - Mix in the Eggs
